Official Server Rules & Punishments​

Thank you for playing on Hyper Networks! This document outlines all core rules and their punishments.​

Welcome to the latest version of the Hyper Networks Rulebook!
This guide details the rules enforced on the server, including explanations and punishments for violations.

Follow the rules, have fun, and help keep the server enjoyable for everyone!


📜 Section II — Server Rules

Meta Gaming
Using OOC info (e.g. from Discord or OOC chat) in RP to gain advantage or harm others.

Power Gaming
Using /it or unrealistic roleplay actions to force situations in your favor without allowing counterplay.

RDM (Random Deathmatch)
Killing another player without a valid RP reason.

MRDM (Mass RDM)
Killing multiple players with no RP justification.

NITrp (No Intent to Roleplay)
Joining the server just to mess around (e.g. RDMing, trolling) with no interest in actual RP.

VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch)
Using a vehicle to run over or kill someone without RP justification.

MVDM (Mass VDM)
Using a vehicle to kill multiple people without RP justification.

Mic Spam
Using your microphone to play music, scream, or otherwise disrupt roleplay.

Exploiting
Abusing glitches or unintended mechanics (e.g. becoming invincible, accessing restricted areas).

DoSS (Denial of Server Service)
Attempting to crash, lag, or overload the server intentionally.

Doxxing
Releasing another player's personal or IP information. This is a federal offense.

Blackmail
Threatening to release personal or secret information to force someone into doing something.

LTARP (Leave to Avoid RP)
Disconnecting or switching characters to avoid an RP situation (e.g., arrest or interrogation).

NLR (New Life Rule)
After dying, you must forget all info gained 15 minutes before death and avoid returning to the death site for 5 minutes.

Hacking
Using third-party software such as ESP, wallhacks, or aimbots to gain advantage in RP or combat.

FearRP
Breaking FearRP may result in:
  • Verbal Warning
  • Formal Warning
  • PK (if killed while violating FearRP)

Meta Gaming
Punishable by:
  • Warning
  • Ban (based on severity)

Power Gaming
Punishable by:
  • Verbal Warning
  • Warning

RDM
Punishable by:
  • Warning or Ban (depending on context and severity)

MRDM
Punishable by:
  • Immediate Ban (length depends on number of kills)

NITrp
Punishable by:
  • Warning or Ban (based on behavior)

VDM / MVDM
Punishable by:
  • Warning
  • Kick
  • Ban
  • Flag Removal (severe cases)

Mic Spam
Punishable by:
  • !gag
  • Verbal Warning
  • Warning

Exploiting / Hacking
Punishable by:
  • Immediate Ban

DoSS
Punishable by:
  • Permanent or Extended Ban (if sufficient proof is provided)

Doxxing
Punishable by:
  • Permanent Ban (pending review)

Blackmail
Punishable by:
  • Ban (duration varies)

LTARP
Punishable by:
  • Ban (with valid video or log evidence)


All punishments may vary depending on staff discretion and player history.
Always use common sense and roleplay in good faith.​
