General Application Guidelines
- Be honest and transparent.
We're looking for real people with fundamental skills — don’t exaggerate. We value potential just as much as experience. - Include examples of your work.
Whether it’s a GitHub repo, a workshop addon, a .VMF file, or a UI design — show us what you can do. - Be clear and professional.
Use proper grammar, structure your answers, and treat this like a job you want. Effort matters. - Only apply if you can contribute.
If you’re too busy IRL or on other servers, don’t ghost. Make sure you can actively support the role you’re applying for. - Communication is key.
We use Discord, Steam, and shared docs — you’ll need to stay in touch and collaborate with the rest of the team.
- Be respectful and unbiased when responding.
- Do not instantly reject someone for minor mistakes; ask for clarification.
- Provide constructive feedback — help applicants improve if they’re close but not quite ready.
- Never publicly shame or joke about applications.
- Programmers:
- Mention which frameworks (e.g., Helix, DarkRP) you’ve worked with.
- Show us code, even if it’s small.
- Bonus if you understand UI, networking, and optimization.
- Level Designers:
- Include screenshots or demo maps.
- Show you understand player flow, optimization (area portals, hints), and collaborative design with devs.
- If you specialized in any theme, point that out!
- Art Designers:
- Provide a portfolio, whether it’s Imgur or a Google Drive folder.
- Show different work types (graphics designs, animations(SFM is included), modeling, textures).
- Let us know what tools you use as well.
- Don’t copy/paste from ChatGPT or another server.
- Don’t submit an empty or rushed application.
- Don’t apply for multiple positions unless you are genuinely qualified for each.
